Five Years of Returning to Mt. Banahaw

Volunteers planting narra seedlings during the fifth year of the Kaloob na BANAHAW restoration project in Mt. Banahaw de Lucban.

After a forest fire damaged part of Mt. Banahaw, volunteers began a restoration effort that grew into a 10-year commitment. Now in its fifth year, the Kaloob na BANAHAW project brought volunteers back to plant 300 narra seedlings, support forest rangers, and continue caring for trees planted in earlier years. The real work is not only planting. It is returning.
