Why Hilombuhay?
Hilombuhay was created from a simple belief:
That the stories we remember most are not always the biggest ones.
Sometimes the most meaningful are found in everyday moments.
- A conversation that stayed with us.
- A stranger's kindness.
- A place that felt like home.
- A story from across the world that somehow felt personal.
The name Hilombuhay combines two Filipino words:
hilom (healing): to comfort, to mend, to bring peace
buhay (life): the everyday life we live and share
For us, it is a reminder that meaning, hope, and connection can often be found in the stories we share.
