The Peace Accord That Helped Shape a Nurse
Jolina Bus-angan was not yet born when the 1986 Mount Data Peace Accord was signed, but its legacy helped her become a nurse. Through an educational assistance program connected to the agreement, she finished her studies and now works in public health, visiting far-flung communities and teaching families how to care for their health. Peace, in her story, became an opportunity that she now passes on.
