In Barangay La Paz, Makati, Mang Nanie Guanlao turned his family home into Reading Club 2000. There are no membership forms, late fees, or strict return dates. Visitors may borrow a book, return it later, or keep it. What began with a small personal collection grew into thousands of donated titles, proving that generosity can keep a library growing even when its shelves have no doors.
