Maybe Babies Understand More Than We Think

A baby appears to listen carefully before responding with perfectly timed expressions and movements. We may never know how much was genuine understanding and how much was lucky timing, but the serious little face makes a convincing case. Sometimes babies really do look like they know exactly what is happening.
