Less Plastic, One Habit at a Time

Microplastics are difficult to avoid completely, which is frustrating. But a few practical swaps can still reduce how much we encounter every day. Microplastics are no longer found only in oceans and soil. Researchers have also detected them in parts of the human body, making the issue feel much closer to home. The article suggests four manageable habits, including reconsidering plastic food containers and changing parts of our laundry routine. None of these can remove every possible exposure, and that is not the promise. They simply give us a few realistic places to begin without turning daily life into another impossible wellness project.
