Abaca has range

Researchers developed an abaca-based material that reduced electromagnetic waves during testing, opening possibilities for more sustainable electromagnetic shielding. It's a very different job for a fiber we usually know from ropes, bags, and handicrafts. Turns out abaca still has a few tricks up its sleeve.
