A Small Change in the Way We Speak to Ourselves

Gentle reminder about separating temporary feelings from personal identity

The words we use can quietly affect how we understand what we are going through. “I am anxious” can sound like anxiety has become part of who we are. “I feel anxious right now” leaves a little more room. It reminds us that this is a feeling happening in the present, not a permanent definition of ourselves. Changing the sentence will not magically remove a difficult emotion. But it may help us pause, breathe, and remember that feelings can shift. 🌿 You are still you, even on the days when one emotion feels louder than everything else.
