A Giant Mandala Made One Stitch at a Time

At Burnham Park's Rose Garden, Baguio artist Adelaida Guia has been crocheting a mandala measuring 223 inches across. Known for creating and displaying giant mandalas, she hopes her latest piece will earn a place in the Guinness World Records. A project that large can sound overwhelming until you remember that it is still made the same way as a smaller piece, one careful stitch after another.
